Melissa Cristina

I had the great pleasure of attending one of Melissa Cristina’s workshops at the Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival, so I’m glad to find a clip of her to feature – even though she rarely teaches or performs belly dance these days.

Melissa Cristina is now concentrating more on her other great love, Samba!  Her background also includes jazz ballet, Flamenco, African, Street Latin, Brazilian Samba and Lebanese Folkloric as well as belly dancing.

She’s performing in this clip with Sydney belly dancer Jrisi.

Melissa was my bellydancing teacher back in 2003/04, Bridge Rd Hawthorn. Wanted to know if she still teaching, if so what suburb? Kind Regards, Julie-Anne.

    3. Thea says:

      Hi Julie-Anne,
Last I heard, Melissa wasn’t belly dancing any more and was focussing on her Samba instead. I have done workshops with her, she’s a fabulous teacher isn’t she?
