The Galabeyah (or gallabiah or galabiah - there are so many spellings!) is the traditional dress of Egypt. You'll often see it worn in folkloric belly dances. A real galabeyah is fairly straight up-and-down, but you will sometimes see belly dancers in cabaret poured into a skin-tight version with a very low slit down the front!
