Lisi Hannan has returned to her native Brazil, but she remains on this website because during her time in Sydney, she became such a vital member of the Australian belly dance scene – and I’d like this site to be a record of Australian belly dancers present and past.   A teacher at Amera’s Palace and a member of Jamil’s belly dance troupe Attar, she won’t be easily forgotten by her legion of adoring students and fans.

These videos are a great example of her fluid style, which has more of a Turkish influence than many other Sydney dancers.
