Jrisi is another wonderful Sydney-based belly dancer and teacher. Her work reflects the fusion of her many dance influences and her wonderful technique, which she is now sharing on her new DVD.

Our next performer is Jewel, from Melbourne. A ballet background can be a handicap to a belly dancer, because ballet is very “up” whereas belly dancing needs to be grounded. Jewel has no such problem, retaining the gracefulness and discipline of a ballet dancer yet staying down to earth.
